Our Story
BagToNature was founded in Toronto, Ontario, with a straightforward mission: replace everyday plastic bags with something that actually works — for people and for the planet.
We spent time researching materials before we produced a single bag. That research led us to BASF ecovio® — a certified plant-based material with over 25 years of trust behind it. We did not choose it because it was trendy. We chose it because it was the right material — strong, certified, and genuinely compostable.
Every bag we make is BPI Certified and tested to ASTM D6400. Those are not just badges. They are our promise that what we say on the bag is what the bag actually does.
